The power supply is the size of a USB smartphone charger and it is a USB cable.
It has withstood some rain with no damage.
Works as expected with 2 cameras, each is 3 Megapixels. The cameras records and streams at the same time.
The moving lens (PT lens) works well. The freatures include movement, with specific types of objects being labeled (cars, people, pets), as well as detection of various sounds.
If you need a camera that won't break the bank, this is a very good option.

I've had this inverter for four years now - it is an extraordinary machine. Very long back-up - I can run my TV + DSTV + laptop + phone for 12 hours at least. It's also extremely light, silent and very ease to move. Best buy ever!

Purchased this unit with relatively low expectation due to the inexpensive nature of the unit. 18 months later I am still surprised by it's performance. The MPPT allows for a fairly wide solar array configuration (Though higher Volts and lower Amps is more efficient for the DC current coming from the solar array). My only (hopefully positive) criticism on this unit is that it is Simulated Sine wave versus True Sine ... If I was Mustek, I would definitely try motivate the manufacturer to "upgrade" the units to True Sine ... That said, this unit has served my electronic equipment well (Flat Screen Displays, Internet ONT, Routers, WiFi AP's, CCTV, PC, Laptop and server) ... Running with 4 X 410W solar panels in a 2S2P configuration has perfectly suited the MPPT specification and I find the 5.12Kwh my two mecer lifepo4 batteries offers to adequately provide me with all electrical power requirements on most days (Yip, rainy days require approx a 50% utility provider input). This system has 50% payed for itself so far (18 months) and if it wasn't for the requirement of True Sine to run inductive loads more efficiently, I would not consider changing. It is important to understand the settings completely and set these absolutely correctly as failure to do so will result in expensive loss/damage. Please ensure this is done correctly to prevent disappointment. I would suggest this unit with the above solar array and 2 X 200A 2,54Kwh Mecer Lifepo4 batteries in series. N.B Cable thickness requirements should be strictly adhered to or over-spec'd. Definitely better than expected.

I agree with Pierre ROSSOUW !!!
It has a 2 speed fan and the slow speed stays on even after 24 hours of continuous Eskom power with a load of 200watts.
It would really be super if the fan could shut down after it recharged. It slows down but never stops.
Even after 2 days with no load at all.

Thou it's the first time to use it,it seems to be something we can depend on

Easy to use and understand

Excellent function. Automatic changeover (like a UPS ) when mains power fails and returns a la load-shedding.
Only negative is a noisy fan that never shuts down (or up). Will have to build a sound-moderating cabinet.
Admin: The fans should shut down once the batteries are fully charged, and the unit cools down. With higher levels of Eskom blackouts that we have, the unit never fully gets to cool down, before the power goes out again :-(

The little flap that holds the laptop in place needs to be higher to hold laptops down properly, unless your laptop is thin, which case it it perfect.

Fan is not adjustable, and it can be heard in a quiet room.
If you need to keep your laptop cool as it is prone to heating up, like game laptops, this one will do the job.
If you need to just work on word and excel, consider a coolermaster with an adjustable fan.

I was told it will last for 14 Hours. I just wanted to utilize it for Wi-Fi router & TV. Did not last 2 hours. it does not charge.

The sales team at the "who-where" shop were likely using Google fables, so they are not entirely to blame as Google promises 14 hours, which is ridiculous.
You will get 4 hours, and with all the extras, 2-3 hours on a 100Ah.
Tip: Set your TV to eco mode, and your WiFi power to the lowest acceptable setting to reduce power by 33%.
Here is the abbreviated theory
1) 12V x 100Ah = 1,200 Watt-hours
2) 80% efficiency = 960 Watt-hours
3) Battery discharge to 50% max = 480Watt-hours
4)TV @ 110 Watts in standard mode = 4.3 hours (480Watt-hours / 110Watts).
5) Fibre box (12W), Wifi router (20W), DSTV decoders (14W) will reduce time further to 2.8 hours, so switch off what you don't need

Amazing tech, works like a charm, did firmware update, running three in "parrallel" 3phase mode, even runs my 2kW 3phase borehole pump, house and the works. Using 16 x 580W panels.

Just ran my 1980s welding machine off it, 6.5kW welding with 220A setting and 3.5mm rod. Works like a charm, little bulky, has a lot of rally smart tech and configuration. Obviously not scared of hard work. This was done with 8 105AH batteries, no power or solar connected, still putting up panels!

WHAT CAUSES FAULT MODE AND HOW TO FIX IT OF THE IVR1200LBKS
1) Overload or short - reduce the load to 720W or less
2) coil/inductive/motor loads - not recommended for motors and inductive loads
3) Battery fault or flat - use a good quality deep-cycle 12V 100Ah / 12V 200Ah battery
4) If the battery was connected in reverse, there will be no power to the unit - the fuses have blown. Take to the agent to replace fuses under warranty. Out of warranty: Replace the 4x blade fuses inside the unit.

Best investment for load-shedding! Been using mine for a few months to run my laptop and TV.

Very poor wireless distance, this has to be close to a wireless router. Confusing to set up. Once set up and close to a router, it works. There is an audio alarm when flooding is detected.
