The little flap that holds the laptop in place needs to be higher to hold laptops down properly, unless your laptop is thin, which case it it perfect. Fan is not adjustable, and it can be heard in a quiet room. If you need to keep your laptop cool as it is prone to heating up, like game laptops, this one will do the job.
