Excellent. Installation was done on a Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 machine from the leatest online version and I had no problems.

The main feature I wanted it for was using ONE keyboard + mouse instead of swapping two as I work on two PCs doing different things. It definately works very well. I am using USB2.0 so I cannot get the full high speed benefiit of USB 3.0 that this cable offers.

Video displays across two screens as independant computers, it duplicates one PC onto another (Mirror) or as a large desktop across two computers (Extended desktop). Not bad for office use such spreadsheet and so, not good enough for video through USB2.0. Not sure on USB3.0 but will let you know as soon as I try.

I have one suggestion for the next software update.

I cannot drag files from one PC to another (either copy or move), I have to use the file transfer utility provided. Ok, it is there, but dragging and dropping would have been easier. You can copy/paste text across computers (through the clipboard), but not entire files or folders. This would be a great addition!

Revised: I have tested video playback over USB3.0 and the results are impressive. It is not perfect, but I would say 95% considering I am playing full HD movies on a large screen. USB2.0 did not work very well. It was out of sync. Audio sync is almost perect, there are one or two dropped frames. The cable is of course not intended to play video across two computers through a USB cable, because getting a second monitor or playing the BluRay through PC 2 would have been easier.
