AIPTEK

AIPTEK International (Advanced Intelligent Personal Technologies) was founded in Taiwan in 1997. The headquarters are situated in the Science-Based Industrial Park in HsinChu, Taiwan.

AIPTEK International GmbH Europe was established in 1999 in Willich, close to Dasseldorf. The administration, the warehouse and the service centre are located on the Stahlwerk Becker commercial estate, from where sales are co-ordinated for the whole of Europe.

AIPTEK manufactures and sells Internet periphery devices, with by far the largest part of the business being made up of hardware products for digital imaging. The legendary Pen Cam, with which AIPTEK started the business in the year 2000, has since sold over 2,5 million units, and is still being produced. The product portfolio is continually being extended. AIPTEK currently markets almost 30 different digital cameras and about a dozen graphics tablets. The introduction of further Internet periphery products is planned. AIPTEK is also involved in wireless technology, e.g. Bluetooth, with its own products.

AIPTEK aims to establish itself as one of the major suppliers in the important sales areas of Europe.
