The Hikvision DS-3E1518P-SI-16P2F is a 16 port Gigabit Smart PoE switch designed for reliable network connectivity and efficient power delivery to compatible devices. With 16 Gigabit PoE ports and 2 Gigabit SFP fiber ports, it provides a flexible networking solution for IP cameras, wireless access points, VoIP phones and other PoE-enabled equipment. The 230 W PoE power budget allows multiple connected devices to receive power directly through the network cables, helping simplify installations.
The Hikvision DS-3E1518P-SI-16P2F combines Gigabit Ethernet connectivity with smart network management and PoE support. Its metal housing provides a durable design for network installations, while the two SFP ports allow for Gigabit fiber uplinks where longer-distance or fiber-based connectivity is required.
Ports 1 to 16 support extended transmission distances of up to 300 metres when used with compatible equipment and suitable cabling. Each PoE port can deliver up to 30 W, with a total available PoE power budget of 230 W. This makes the switch well suited to surveillance networks and other installations where several powered network devices need to operate from a central switch.
The switch also includes network management functions such as VLAN tagging, loop prevention and storm control. Cable detection can assist with locating cable faults, while 6 kV surge protection helps provide additional protection for connected network equipment.
