Overview

Ajax MotionCam (PhOD) Jeweller - White Wireless Motion Detector with Photo on Demand
The Ajax MotionCam (PhOD) Jeweller is a cutting-edge wireless motion detector designed to enhance security with instant visual verification. Equipped with Photo on Demand and alarm-triggered photo capabilities, it captures human motion with precision. Its advanced PIR sensor detects movement up to 12 meters away, with horizontal and vertical coverage of 88.5degrees and 80degrees, respectively. Ideal for homes or offices, the detector provides pet immunity, infrared capabilities for low-light conditions, and reliable battery-powered operation.

Description

The MotionCam (PhOD) Jeweller combines intelligent motion detection with high-quality image capture. Using a specialized Fresnel lens and SmartDetect software, it distinguishes between humans, pets, and environmental thermal noise, minimizing false alarms. Users can take on-demand photos through the Ajax app or receive automatic snapshots when motion or fire detectors are triggered. The built-in IR backlight ensures clear images even in complete darkness. Pre-installed batteries last up to 5 years, and encrypted two-way wireless communication via Jeweller and Wings technologies guarantees instant alerts and secure data transmission. The device is easy to install with the SmartBracket panel and integrates seamlessly with Hub 2, Hub 2 Plus, or Hub Hybrid systems.

Features

Intelligent motion detection for fewer false alarms
The detector instantly identifies human motion while ignoring pets and thermal noise. Its Fresnel lens captures detailed thermal patterns, and SmartDetect software analyzes infrared data for accurate detection. Combined with professional installation, this ensures high reliability and precise alerts.

Capture the situation on demand
Users can view their property at any time with a single click in the Ajax app. MotionCam automatically takes photos during alarms, fire detector triggers, or scheduled scenarios, providing visual verification for security teams and homeowners alike.

High-quality images in any lighting
HDR technology enhances photo clarity by balancing light and contrast, ensuring vibrant, detailed images. The IR backlight allows the camera to operate effectively in dark environments.

Advanced wireless technology
MotionCam Jeweller uses Jeweller for instant alarms and Wings for rapid photo delivery. The system operates over distances up to 1,700 meters in open space, maintains encrypted communication, and reliably functions through walls or obstacles with range extenders.

Adaptable to different environments
Sensitivity levels can be adjusted to match room conditions and account for pets or thermal interference. Temperature compensation maintains detector accuracy even when ambient temperatures approach body heat.

Reliable operation and easy maintenance
Pre-installed batteries provide years of uninterrupted service, with low battery alerts delivered via the app. Batteries are easily replaceable, and the detector functions independently of the building's power supply.

Tamper protection and secure data handling
The device alerts users and security companies if tampered with. All photos and system data are encrypted, stored securely on Ajax Cloud, and access is strictly controlled. GDPR-compliant storage ensures privacy.

Seamless integration and setup
The MotionCam (PhOD) Jeweller is ready for immediate installation. Using the SmartBracket panel, mounting is quick, and the device pairs effortlessly with Ajax hubs through QR code scanning. Configuration can be adjusted remotely, eliminating the need for onsite service visits.
