Overview

MikroTik wAP ax: High-Performance Wi-Fi 6 Outdoor Router
The MikroTik wAP ax is an advanced outdoor Wi-Fi 6 router that brings fast, reliable, and secure wireless connectivity to a variety of challenging environments. Whether it's for a rural gas station, countryside getaway, or a busy bus stop, this compact, weatherproof access point offers exceptional performance with dual-band Wi-Fi 6 capabilities, ensuring stable and fast connections both indoors and outdoors.

Features

Reliable Wi-Fi 6 for Extreme Conditions
Designed with durability in mind, the wAP ax features a rugged weatherproof form factor, which has been extensively tested worldwide for years. This makes it ideal for remote locations or public spaces where conditions may be harsh. The router delivers high-performance connectivity using a powerful dual-band, dual-chain radio (2x2 MIMO), offering superior wireless speeds and reliability in any environment.

Enhanced Security and Efficiency with Wi-Fi 6
Wi-Fi 6 offers much more than just faster speeds. With significant improvements in both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz spectrums, you'll experience speed boosts of up to 90% on the 2.4 GHz band and 40% on the 5 GHz band. But the real advantage is in the enhanced energy efficiency and robust security features. Thanks to WPA3 encryption, OWE (Opportunistic Wireless Encryption), and protection against management frame attacks, your network is safeguarded against common threats like brute-force and deauthentication attacks.

Seamless Roaming and Coverage Expansion
For larger coverage areas, the wAP ax supports fast and seamless roaming, ensuring that your devices automatically switch to the strongest available signal. This means you can roam across expansive outdoor areas without worrying about dropped connections, making it a perfect solution for campuses, parks, or other wide-open spaces.

Powerful Hardware for Smooth Connectivity and Easy Management
Equipped with a dual-core ARM CPU and running RouterOS v7, the wAP ax ensures stable internet performance and excellent VPN support for remote connectivity. With two Gigabit Ethernet ports and Power over Ethernet (PoE) options, this access point offers flexible power solutions to suit a range of installation scenarios. Plus, centralized management through MikroTik's CAPsMAN system allows for the seamless administration of multiple devices with minimal effort.

Sleek, Stealthy, and Secure Design
One of the standout qualities of the wAP ax is its discreet, low-profile design that blends effortlessly into its surroundings. It can be securely mounted on any external wall or roof, and its cable management system keeps the Ethernet cable hidden, enhancing both security and aesthetics. Whether for private properties or public spaces, the wAP ax ensures your network remains both reliable and unobtrusive.
