Setting up the Aqara E1 is a breeze. No tools are required; simply mount the curtain driver onto your existing curtain rod or track, then follow the easy setup instructions in the Aqara Home app. Within minutes, your curtains can be fully automated, ready to adjust based on schedules, voice commands, or environmental changes.

Efficient Battery and Power Options
The Aqara E1's energy-efficient design is powered by a high-capacity 6000mAh rechargeable battery, which can last up to one year on a single charge. For continuous operation, it can also be powered through the modern USB-C port. Keep in mind that actual battery life may vary depending on curtain weight, track length, and friction, but the flexibility to use either battery or continuous power ensures optimal performance.

Wide Compatibility with Smart Home Ecosystems
The Aqara E1 Smart Curtain Driver is compatible with a variety of popular smart home ecosystems and voice assistants. It seamlessly integrates with Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and IFTTT, and future support for Matter will be available through an OTA update. This wide compatibility ensures it fits into your home automation setup, regardless of which platform you use.

Multiple Control Methods for Ultimate Convenience
Control your curtains however you prefer:

• Voice Commands : Simply use Siri, Alexa, or Google Assistant to open or close your curtains hands-free.
• Automation Triggers : Set your curtains to respond to time schedules, weather conditions, or environmental changes like light levels or motion.
• Physical Switches : Use Aqara switches or sensors to trigger curtain movement with a single touch or motion detection.
• Mobile App Control : The Aqara Home app allows for scheduling, geofencing, and custom automation based on events like sunrise and sunset, or even your location.

Supports a Variety of Curtain Tracks
The Rod Version of the Aqara E1 is designed to fit a wide range of curtain tracks. It supports standard rods with diameters between 25 mm and 32 mm, as well as U-Rails and I-Rails, making it versatile enough for most homes. The Track Version, however, is limited to U-Rails and I-Rails.

Maximum Load of 12 kg
No need to worry about heavy curtains. The Aqara E1's motor is powerful enough to handle curtains weighing up to 12 kg. This ensures that the system is strong enough to move most curtain types, from light fabrics to heavier drapes, with ease.

Create Automated Curtain Scenes for Any Situation
Make your daily routine more enjoyable with automated curtain movement. Set your curtains to open gradually at your preferred time, adjust based on sunlight, or close at night to help you sleep better. Examples of smart automations include:

• Morning Routine : Curtains open at 9 AM to greet you with natural light.
• Bright Sunlight : Curtains partially close when the sun is too strong.
• Evening View : Curtains open right before sunset, so you can enjoy the view.
• Sleep Mode : Curtains close automatically when motion sensors detect that you're going to bed.

Dual Curtain Driver Setup
For enhanced performance, consider installing two Aqara E1 units on a single window. This allows you to control each side of the window independently or sync both units for a smoother, faster operation. This dual setup also helps extend battery life and provides more precise control over curtain movement.
