DFP (20 pin MDR; Digital Flat Panel)

DVI 24+1 and DVI 24+5

The DVI 24+1 (DVI-D) is designed to support digital only displays (HDMI, DVI, Display port, Thunderbolt). In DVI 24+5 (DVI-I) connector, there are four pins beside the horizontal blade to allow video signals to pass with a DVI to VGA adapter and connect a VGA monitor to the port.
